The new hosting plan is instant available, and the previous one is credited till to the end of your current billing period, and the new one is added from the date of change till to the end of your current billing period. So its easily to adjust your hosting plan depending on your needs.
Actually hosting plans covers an amount of services but are not limited. You can have more email addresses, webspace or databases than included in a hosting plan. This additional services are billed automatically also on a daily basis. If you delete a service which one is over the included service, it is automatically credited.
